2 Litre Pot - Bigger Size, Better Value!
In spring, tall leafless stems rise, bearing clusters of pale pink flowers that resemble Bergenia’s. Its foliage later brings drama to the garden, appearing when the flowers begin to fade. Large, rounded leaves create a striking impact, emerging glossy green before turning an attractive red in autumn. Happy in moist soil, Darmera peltate is ideal for boggy conditions near ponds and streams.

Darmera are perennials that form a clump of long stalks with large, rounded leaves and tall stems of rounded clusters of star-shaped flowers. Ideal for planting in boggy areas near ponds or streams.
On arrival, unpack your new garden additions, and, if needed, give a light watering. Your plants are containerised and established, so you can get planting, as long as the ground is not waterlogged or frozen (in these situations, keep your plants in a sheltered position while you wait). For the first year, keep an eye on moisture availability, while roots settle into their new home.
For herbaceous perennials, dig a hole, allowing 2 inches either side of the pot width. Try and ensure you plant your new arrival at the same level in the ground as it had been sitting at in its pot.
